I grew up surrounded by textiles that carried meaning.Some weaves felt celebratory, some felt sacred, and many were quietly powerful.
But I always wondered why certain woven textiles were limited to one side of culture, or one side of expression.
To me, weaving has never belonged to a gender.
It has always belonged to the hands that create it and the hearts that carry it.
Ambari is my way of reflecting that belief.
A space where South Indian weaving traditions can breathe in a modern world
without losing their depth, their purpose, or their poetry.
Every edition we release is small, intentional, and rooted in the craft that shaped us.
